With our busy work and life schedule, and a lot of traveling on top of that, we were looking for a solution to make mealtime easier on us, and our two cats. We wanted something that is as high-functioning as we are, and would keep our two cats on their schedule when we aren’t able to.

Some of the pain points I’ve had with previous feeders are: they are hard to clean, difficult to program, and my cats would “break in”. After doing ample research, we recently purchased the PETLIBRO Granary Double Food Tray, and we would definitely say this is the best automatic cat feeder on the market! This feeder addresses all of these issues and more!
This feeder is sleek in style, and smart in design. It comes in two different colors-white and black, and what I love about it most is that it is so easy to set up! My two cats tend to fight over mealtime, so it’s nice that there are two separate bowls that dispense food equally. If you do have two different pets that have different mealtime portions, it can accommodate for that too; you’ll just have to make sure you’re around so that there’s no food theft involved!
The feeder was very easy to set up and comes with a descriptive user manual. It can be programmed to feed up to 6 times a day. The feeder parts detach easily for quick cleaning and the bowls are made of stainless steel. The canister, which holds up to 5 liters of food, features a twist-lock lid, so cats (or dogs!) can’t break-in, which is so nice not to have to worry about when you are gone all day!
You can program a voice message for your fur babies to hear, up to 10 seconds, to let them know it’s time to eat. I also really love the extra features that they included to ensure that the food stays fresh. This includes quadruple sealing, and a desiccant bag that is replaceable. It has a patented rotor design which helps prevent blockages, and has an IR detection system to identify blockages when they do happen. This amazing feeder runs on battery and electrical power, so that it can keep working, even when the power goes out!
Customer service is extremely friendly, and they do offer a 12 month hassle free warranty on their products.
We would be remiss not to mention some of the drawbacks of this feeder. It only works with dry food 0.07-0.6in in diameter. Because of it’s battery and wall-powered design, you will need to ensure there is an outlet nearby to the unit, if you want to keep the battery for reserve. I personally like to clean my cats’ bowls often, and have a few extra on hand. Unfortunately they do not sell the extra bowls on their own, but you can buy a replacement set of two bowls and the bowl holder on the website.
For us, this feeder has satisfied all of our needs and relieved us from the woes of other automatic feeders we’ve tried. We are so happy to finally have found the best automatic cat feeder! We hope you’ll give it a go and let us know what you think!
