This innovative litter box comes with many advantages, such as an all-in-one design that helps keep your home odor-free. Why is this sifting litter box the best one? The system includes an anti-tracking pellet layer, disposable pads, and the option of a covered top, making sure your cat's waste is locked away from sight and smell. It's the perfect solution for pet owners looking to maintain a clean and hygienic home environment.

It may be good for cats who:

  • Do not like to touch the litter with their paws or will not go if the litter box is already soiled

  • Prefer to have a private space when doing their business

  • Tend to get litter all over the floor outside of the litter box

The Purina Breeze Litter Box comes with a few cons, which are essential to consider. One is the need for consistent maintenance, including changing the litter and pads. Additionally, it's slightly more expensive than other traditional litter boxes on the market. But overall, its benefits make it worth the extra expense.

We have been using the Purina Breeze litter box for our two cats for almost 4 years, and here are our thoughts.

Pros:

-No more messy litter tracks throughout the house! The pellets stay in the litter box and do not stick to the cats' paws. If they do escape from the litter box by chance, the pellets are large enough to pick up by hand or with a vacuum, rather than the “sandy” texture of other litter

- This sifting litter box is very easy to clean. It does the work for you. The solid waste clumps can be easily removed with a scoop (which is included!) and the pellets do not need to be changed as often as traditional litter. We do a full change out of the litter once a month. For the hooded box, the top slides up and out of the way for easy access

- The odor control is impressive. There is minimal to no smell from the litter box

- Multiple sizes are available- regular, hooded, and now, an XL size

-Lots of varieties for supplies- scented pads, multi-cat strength pads, regular litter, and enhanced litter. Litter comes in 3.5 lb and 7 lb bags

-Both cats took to it very quickly!

- New litter box kit comes with coupons for litter and pad refills

Cons:

- The pellets and pads are expensive and pellets need to be completed changed out once a month

-Messy “accidents” are hard to clean up

-Hooded and XL are large and take up a lot of space

Overall, we are happy with the Purina Breeze litter box and would recommend it to any cat owner looking for a low-maintenance litter solution. When cleaning #2, it is easy to put a grocery bag on the scoop and toss right in your normal garbage can for easy cleanup!! I have also used Amazon Brand Litter pads, which are much cheaper. The tradeoff is that they don’t hold in scent as well as the Purina Breeze brand, so must be changed more often. They also come scented. I typically do a full litter change once monthly (otherwise it does develop a lingering odor), and the box is easy to do a deep clean with gloves, soap, and water from the hose once every month as well. Personally, I have a few extra boxes in the garage, so that if something is soiled, I can easily switch it out with a clean one, without having to do the cleaning right there on the spot. We love this box and hope you will too!
