Here are some of our favorite items to help with anxiety:

  • Feliway diffuser- These plug-in devices diffuse pheromones that ease anxiety in cats. It works for 30 days. It may give off a scent for the first couple of days, but dissipates soon after. We use the multi-cat version since we have 2 cats.

  • Vetriscience Composure Pro- These yummy chewables for both cats and dogs, contains L-Theanine, Thiamine, and Colostrum that support calm behavior, AND brain health. My cats both love them!! I break them into smaller pieces, as they are intended for both dogs and cats and are pretty large.

  • Catnip Toys- Catnip contains a chemical compound called nepetalactone, which when ingested or inhaled, interacts with the receptors in a cat's brain that control emotions, causing a sense of calm and tranquility. My cat loves this catnip toy! It's like a body pillow for her and I find her playing with it all by herself sometimes!

  • Relaxopet- Studies have shown that music can help calm animals, including cats. Soothing and relaxing music can help ease anxiety and promote relaxation.
